Being near, or in, a body of water is the only way to keep cool.
And this is actually our favorite time to head upstate.
When the city is stifling, out east is crowded, and all we want is to lay by a pool... Lucky for us weekenders, there are ample hotels no more than 3 hours north of NYC that can provide a cool respite—and many that come with a poolside bar serving up our favorite drink.
